It would probably feel less hanky, not having your aim try attach to someone while you try aim away, and could probably be less exploited that aim assist (remember L2 spam). Plus it probably won't have any differences between pc controller and console controllers. Maybe we could bring back the shooting tests.
Lets be real, aim assist needs to be nerfed horribly. Aim assist is out of control. I watch people on controller and there is 0 chance aim should be that perfectly cracked at my skill level matches. I mean literally 90 percent hit rate in lobbies where pc players are hitting 30 percent at best. Playing games on PC, reWASD creates a virtual controller (DS4 or Xbox 360), games see the controller instead of K&M, you get the aim assist as the controller is required for the aim assist in the game. I never see controller players saying that aim assist is OP however it clearly is, does this just say something about the controller community or are there genuinely players admitting that it is in a shocking state. not saying that controller is more advantageous than mnk in general. but if we’re just looking at aim assist, then yes it is over powered. you said it yourself that it is the only advantage you have. so if aim assist is better than regular aim, then it is too strong. it should only be bringing console aim up to par with mnk. 2.
